A true Christian woman in fellowship with the True God.
Conviction
doesn’t mean Regeneration
By Eric William King
Your sinful
nature is most deceitful. Just because you might “feel” that something that you did was bad does not mean that you
are a born again Christian. Conviction
does not necessarily mean true regeneration.
There are some
people who do not know the will of
God because they do not read their Bible’s nor talk to fellow Christians. They
live their lives seeming to know what is right and wrong but never ask for the forgiveness of their sins
on a daily bases, thus they have no true relationship with the True Christian
God, Yahweh.
They may say
that they “believe” in Jesus but to
them that just means that they believe that He was once a real person, they believe
that they have their own conscience to direct them. This is sadly the state of
most people who call themselves Christian. Are you truly converted?
Just because
you might live a somewhat responsible
life doesn’t mean that you are a true Christian either. Jesus said that only if
you “remain in His
word” and talk to the Heavenly Father daily are you in a good
fellowship (John 8:31-32). Don’t deceive yourself and call yourself a Christian
if you are not in His church. To be a true Christian you must be in the church
that He built and you must have a desire to WORSHIP God.
To call
yourself a Christian and not have a life
of worship is fake. You are not to take for granted anything that Jesus
said. To say that you do not believe in “certain
parts” of the Bible and call yourself Christian is also fake. Jesus used
the whole Bible and stated it as fact (Luke 24:27; 2nd Timothy 3:16).
A person may
be learned in psychology and philosophy but truly unlearned in God’s
word. Many place the word of men and women above the word of Divine
Intelligence. This is sad. When a true Christian hears somebody call
themselves a Christian and finds out that that person does not attend church,
pray, or read God’s word then he knows he is in front of a liar.
Then you have
people say things like “You can’t judge whether I am a true Christian or not!”
to which the true Christian may properly
respond with; “I am not judging you. The Bible explains what a true
Christian is, not me.” You see, we know what God wants and likes because we
have His revealed Word. Again, sadly, those who wish yet another excuse will
say that the Bible is not wholly correct. Do you begin to see now how corrupt
and deceitful the human sinful nature is?
Test whether or
not you are a true regenerated Christian and not just a convicted sinner.
Trusting in
God’s word above all else.
