Testimony Sealed by Blood of Testator

He sealed the Testimony thus
sealing His true children to Himself.

Testimony Sealed by Blood of Testator

We have talked about how all true Christians are “sealed” with the Holy Spirit as a “deposit guaranteeing our inheritance.” (Ephesians 1:13-14) “He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us...” (2nd Corinthians 1:21-22) We have explained about how important and legal documents such as title-deeds were “sealed” with wax seals. We have pointed out that a title deed contains the history of the property in question and the facts about its “redeemer”.  You can have no information about the “redeemer” without the title deed. Christians have a copy of that title deed thus they know who their Redeemer is! (Jeremiah 32:11; Isaiah 29:18)

Regarding the Seven Sealed Scroll mentioned in the Book of Revelation, many people think that the opening of each seal is translating what Satan is doing on earth or that the Seven Sealed Scroll is merely a scroll which contains final judgments. The fact is Jesus will be judicially acting out His right to reclaim His “purchased possession”. The Seven Sealed Scroll represents the finality and perfection of God’s WORD…..which tangibly is our Holy BibleIt is the title deed to this planet.

We could explain our Christian Bibles (Holy Scriptures) to be three things in one:

1-God’s will for us containing our family tree. (Acts 20:27)
2-God’s diary containing how God truly feels about us. (Jeremiah 29:11)
3-The property deed, His proof that He owns us. (Revelation 5:7-10)

We note that only Jesus can properly open this Scroll for us. Why?

“…You [Jesus Christ] are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God…” (Revelation 5:9)

And in this Church Age (Ecclesiastical Dispensation) the Holy Spirit opens for us all that we need to know. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit the Christian gains understanding of all these important Truths.  “The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1st Corinthians 2:14)

As a Christian you are to become a living copy of that title-deed or testament (will). “You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the Living God, not on tables of stone but on tables of human hearts.” (2nd Corinthians 3:3) You are to become “sealed” with the TRUTH…with the WORD of God. The gospel was sealed by “the blood of Jesus Christ” and He becomes our LIVING TESTIMONY that the title deed transaction was complete. We now have a written copy of the WILL OF GOD, a title deed containing the complete history of our planet and just who we actually belong to (who owns us, who is our parent).

“In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.” (Hebrews 9:16) We are further told that by the death of Jesus Christ, His blood sealed the testimony and made the transaction complete. “So Christ was sacrificed ONCE to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” (Hebrews 9:28) He will take full possession of His “purchased possession”.

So our Christian Bibles are copies of this important “title deed” and “will” – the “open” copy. Our Bibles contain the will of God and God loves us so much that he has given us the complete story in the Bible (written on “both sides” – Old & New Testaments). We call it “the Vision of ALL”. (Isaiah 29:11)

As a matter of fact, God loves us so much that  ...”He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

So I invite you to study here at “The Shepherds Way” and learn the Good News (the Gospel of Jesus Christ). “…Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” (John20:29)

Resting in the finished work of Jesus the Christ,
