Inspiration Doubters
From Eric William King
When John the Baptist appeared on the scene, right before Jesus
became public, the religious leaders would not accept him, calling him a
fanatic. They said of John, “He hath a demon.” (Matthew 11:18) When Jesus
started his ministry, after the death of John the Baptist (the politicians cut
off his head), the political religious leaders (the Sanhedrin) mocked Him, made
fun of Him, and eventually killed Him.
There are many inspiration doubters today. In fact, there are
more today than any time in history. There are many who call themselves
“Christian” today but they no longer read their Bible’s and have no concern to
truly, and deeply understand God’s Word. They are “lukewarm” (Jesus has
something to say about these “Christians” – Revelation 3:14-23). To truly
believe in Jesus Christ is to believe everything He says.
These self-centered “Christians” trust everything that their
church-denomination teaches without truly testing their doctrines by the Word
of God. Do you think that if they lived in the time of Jesus they would accept,
and believe in Him? No, they would not. Most Christians would never accept a “new
truth” which God reveals to them for fear of membership rejection.
The Rejecters, still alive and well.
Today, many Christians are rejecting the “meat in due season” just
as the Pharisees, Sadducees, and Sanhedrin did in their day. If such people
exist today who reject the inspired message to Laodicea, would they
have accepted Jesus Christ’s message if they lived back then? No.
If you are not in “main stream” Christianity, well then, you are a “cult
leader” or “cult member”. Wait a minute! Aren’t true Christians told to “search
the Scriptures”, pray and listen? Yes. Sadly, most Christians are just happy
sitting in a church pot-luck and talking about their recent vacation.
Shouldn’t those who profess Christianity listen to God’s messengers?
“Surely the LORD God will do nothing, but He revealeth
His secret unto His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
“By a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and
by a prophet was he preserved.” (Hosea 12:13)
“Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be
established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper.” (2nd Chronicles
Is there a prophetic message for today? Absolutely! We serve a
Living God who is still speaking to His true people. We find all that He has
to say in his Word, the Holy Scriptures. There is New Light from
His Word for us today.
There are those calling themselves “Christian” today who are disposed to
question the simplest understood revelations of God. They say; “We will accept
this part, but not that part” - as if to say that God is “right on this issue,
but wrong on the other”. They consider themselves to be “intellectually
enlightened” by doing so. To call God a
“liar” is the farthest thing from true enlightenment. Christians are the
true “illumintus” (Light) of the world, not the rejectors. (Matthew 5:14)
Many believe that atheism is “cool”, it shows how “smart” they are.
No matter what a Christian might say to them, they roll their eyes and say; “Nobody
can claim to know God.” These foolish people will find out sooner than later
that God [Divine Intelligence] is
very real and He has made Himself known through HIS Word so that they are
without excuse.
Time to Truly Listen
The Word of God states: “He who answers a
matter before he hears it, It is folly and shame to him.” (Proverbs
18:13) My prayer is that you take time out to hear (understand) what I
have to say (truly listen). Test all things by the Word of God (John 17:17).
God has sent YOU a messenger! Throughout time God has offered a portion of
His mind - His thoughts - to humanity (2nd Peter 1:4).
The United States of America and many other countries are falling apart
because they have turned away from the prophets of God and the Seventh Message.
“And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to
them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion
on His people and on His dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers
of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath
of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.”
(2nd Chronicles 36:15,16)
I urge you to not turn away, the true Christian Church is still
here…there is still a remedy. Study with us here at “The Shepherds Way” & “Nugget of Truth”.
