Ancient Antiochene
Mysteries
Part
Forty-nine
“The
Zerubian Mystery.”
By presbyter Eric William King (October 23rd

God said to
Zechariah the prophet:
“Then the angel
who was speaking with me returned and roused me, as a man who is
awakened from his sleep.” (Zechariah 4:1)
Notice that he
had to be “awakened”. This expresses the condition of the Laodicean
church. Its members are “Luke-warm”. The assembly has become drowsy. They have
lost their drive. So, this message to Zechariah speaks to the modern Laodiceans.
After Zechariah awoke and gave attention God said to him: “What do you see?”
And I [Zechariah] said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its
bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to
each of the lamps which are on top of it; also, two olive trees by it, one on
the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side.” (Zechariah 4:1-3)
Who is God
revealing this prophecy to? Ultimately, He is revealing it to Zerubbabel. Who
is Zerubbabel? “This is the Word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel.” (Zechariah 4:6)
His name means “seed of life [hope] for Babylon”. “Zerub” meaning ‘seed’,
and it being placed in ‘babel’ [Babylon]. The Ancient Antiochene Church of God
has always taught that this Zerubbabel is a type of a latter-day
Zerubbabel, which is to appear in the “time of the end”. There is a hint of
this in Haggai who was a contemporary of Zechariah.
In Haggai
2:22-23 we read about a future Zerubbabel that will help to somehow “overthrow
the throne of kingdoms”, and “in that day” God promises to make him a
“signet ring”. The teaching is that this coming Zerubbabel will appear at the
end of the church dispensation to give the last of the “seven messages” to the
end-time church. He represents the “Seventh Messenger” and “those with him” –
the “John Class”.
Ancient
Zerubbabel’s father was Shealtiel. Shealtiel means, “I have asked God”. So, to
understand this latter-day Zerubian Message one must truly; “Ask of God.” In
this awesome vision that God gives the prophet Zechariah we see two trees, one
on the right side and one on the left. These trees have a tube that comes out
of each one of them and they drain oil into a golden bowl. Then, from this bowl
comes seven tubes that feed into a lampstand that has seven lamps on it. Each
tube gives oil to each of the seven lamps. These symbols are very important to
understand.
This prophecy
could only be fully understood now, in the Church Dispensation. Now that we
have the “little book open” [the New Testament] we can see the whole vision.
St. John mentions this lampstand in the Revelation of Jesus Christ and it is
explained by the latter-day Zerubbabel [John Class]. The Seven Angels in the
Book of Revelation that were given messages to the Seven Churches longed to see
this day:
“For who has
despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see
the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel – these are the eyes of the LORD
which range to and fro throughout the earth.” (Zechariah 4:19)
These seven
angelic messengers have been taking their messages “throughout the earth” to
every church. We are in the Seventh Church time, that of Laodicea. This means
that it is time to receive the message to the Seventh Church. This final
message is depicted as a “plumb line” in the hands of Zerubbabel. A
plumb line was a tool, a weight attached to string, that when held up it would
test to see if a wall was straight or not. God is giving counsel to His church
to see if “it is straight” or not. It must have “sound doctrine”. (Titus 2:1)
Regarding this
“lampstand vision” we understand that each of the seven lamps represents one of
the Seven Churches listed in Revelation that Jesus gives counsel to. Jesus
Himself states that the lamps represent the Christian Churches. (Revelation
1:20) The “two trees” represent the Old and New Testament – the complete Word
of God which is seen as two trees which each have a tube coming out of them
dripping oil into a golden bowl.
The Golden
Bowl represents the coming together of the Old and New Testament in
fulfilment. It represents the gift of prophecy. The two trees also represent
Moses and Elijah which will be the two resurrected witnesses mentioned in the
Book of Revelation. They shall prophesize for the first three-and-a-half years
of the Tribulation. Moses representing the Old Testament saints and Elijah the
prophet representing the New Testament saints, the raptured church. Elijah was
raptured in the Old Testament.
The Seven
Angels make sure that each of the seven churches receives their message
[prophetic oil] by sending it through the “tubes” (interdimensional wormholes).
Are you getting this “extra” oil? Remember the parable that Jesus gives about
the “Ten Virgins”? Only five of them had the “extra oil” and were able to
“enter the ark” [attend the marriage of the Lamb] at the “catching away” of the
saints. Keep your lamp burning, get this extra oil.
My prayer is
that you are receiving this important Zerubian Message – with your lamp burning
and you are awake!
Together we are
the Light of this Fallen World.
This is most
certainly true.

“In Zechariah 4:7 this latter-day Zerubbabel brings forth the “Capstone”
with shouts of “grace, grace unto it.” This is the Christ, the “Living Stone”
along with His people. The “stone cut out of a mountain – cut out without
hands” in Daniel 2:45 represents the Raptured Church sealed and taken out. This
stone shall return with Christ and crash into the feet of the statue (earth
governments) and it shall destroy the statue completely. This small stone
(Davidian Kingdom) shall then grow into filling the entire earth. Zerubbabel
certainly has the Davidian Kingdom message.” ~ Eric W. King (Oct. 22nd
