Antiochene Christians Grateful this Christmas

Christmas 2024

Since 1900 the Christian Church has officially entered the Laodicean Epoch of time. We have since experienced two “World Wars”, from the industrial age, to the electronic age, to the space age, to the information age, etc. etc. right into hell. Also, since 1900 we officially entered the “Material Age”. This brings in all the “push button” and “instant this” and “instant that” things. Well, before we get too depressed let’s learn. Even today there are some Ancient Antiochene Church of God members living in the mountain regions of many different lands. The women love to have children to tend to things and learn what is important in life, like curtesy, kindness, respect for all.

In ancient Antioch in Syria, long ago, if a person lived 50 or over, they were greatly respected. Why? There were no hospitals back then and all of the medical care that we have today did not exist. Imagine the worst time you needed health care – you made it through because of modern medical care. If you lived long ago like the Antiochene Christians did, you would have to pray a lot and hope to make it through. Having sons was important back then so that the farm or growing fields could be tended to with strong arm.

Also, our early Antiochene Christian mothers gave birth at home, the father or person in care of the mother would cut the umbilical cord. The father would have to use his teeth sometimes to do this. Then the child would be held in its mothers’ arms wrapped in swaddling cloth. If it was winter time this would be near a fire. There were no “doctors” or “nurses”. Just you and the family were there to watch. Jesus Christ our Lord was born in a humble and simple location just covered from the stars outside when He was born.

After “the fall” of humanity, raising children became much harder. Jesus was born into a sinful world. He was born with a normal Human body. A body that now was prone to die.

God stated that He would “multiply” Eve’s pain in childbirth due to her and Adam’s decision to sin in the Garden of Eden. What does this mean? It is always hard in some ways to raise a child. To live in a world of sin and try and morally raise a child can become extremely frustrating. So, “childbirth pains” cover more ways than one regarding the fact that God “multiplied” the issues due to Adam and Eve’s decision. Even still God loves us and still watches over us and has us all in His great plan.

This Christmas we become even more thankful for all of the good gifts that God has given us and continues to give us. We understand that Christmas is the day we choose to remember the birth of our Lord into His human body. He came here to redeem us, to love us, to cure us. He has given us everlasting life with Him in His glorious Kingdom. What a gift!

Talk to God. Thank him that you are breathing. Repent and accept Him into your life forever. Read His word. Study his word. Find the true Church. It will be with people who truly care. Merry Christmas to you all.

One last important word before we go into the year 2025:

Jesus our Lord warned us that we would begin to experience our own “birth pains”. He was speaking metaphorically about the special time the Christian Church entered when the Church entered its “last stretch” - before the “catching away” occurs. Since the year 1900 AD we have entered the Laodicean Epoch of the church, the LAST EPOCH OF TIME FOR THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH.

Many Christians have felt these spiritual “birth pains” and have left the church. Why? They have not a close enough relationship with our Lord so they panic and leave. Many talk bad about the true church now because of this behavior. We cannot save anybody or force anybody to love God and accept the revelation of Jesus Christ. It is truly up to each individual to choose for him or herself if they believe in the revelation of Jesus Christ.

I pray that if you have read this and found our ministry, that you heard God say something good to you today, something that makes sense that you can grasp. If you are experiencing “spiritual birth pains” that is a good thing – your awake. Don’t sedate yourself with the things of this fallen world to understand this. Instead, get out your Bible and let God speak.
