Christian Awakening

As Christians we learn to accept true success, the fact that we truly begin to understand the fallen human nature and ones need for Jesus the Christ. The fallen human nature is full of selfishness, egocentric thoughts and is always trying to impress others outwardly. This world wants constant reward from overstimulation of the senses.

Most everybody is walking and judging by “sight”. By doing this many have turned off the reality of the unseen world that surrounds them. People have learned to let their physical senses dominate them. As Christians we learn to do everything for God. This is the true spiritual life. Do you have to clean your house? Do it for God. Do you have to cook dinner? Do it for God. Do you have to wash the dishes, take care of the yard, wash clothes, etc. etc. Then do it all for God.

People come up with all sorts of excuses not to read their Bible’s. “I have already read it? Why read it again?” Yet these same people will eat the same food, watch the same shows, listen to the same songs, over and over again.

Some talk themselves into thinking; “I have a life; I don’t have time to be a Christian.” Wow! The fact is, everything we have belongs to God. There is nothing that you own that is truly “yours”. As Christians we take true joy in a conscious relationship with Divine Intelligence and the fact that He is sovereign.

Worldliness does one of two things; it stops true spiritual growth or causes a false anti-Christian, dark spirituality to manifest – a selfish spirituality. Unfortunately, people believe that their own fallen concepts of God or a “higher-power” are “cool” and better than God’s true revelation of Himself through the person of Jesus Christ.

Sadly, many have had a bad experience with one who called himself or herself a “Christian”. It is said that “hurt people hurt people”. True Christianity is indeed hard to find these days. Many are currently experiencing broken relationships, financial loss, etc. It is my prayer that if you have been led to read this short article that you would book-mark this site and begin to truly study your Bible here at “The Shepherds Way” and “Nugget of Truth”. By developing a true and proper relationship with Divine Intelligence and learning biblical principles your life will change, behold all things become new.

When a person truly accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord, God, and Savior one is granted a new state of consciousness. One gains a relationship with Divine Intelligence through the Living Word of Life – Jesus the Christ. As a Christian you begin to grow, never reaching perfection but allowing yourself to remain in constant and honest contact with the one who created you and loves you – God. It is God who does the changing, it is God who does the saving and healing. All He asks of us is to trust and obey – to believe. Our belief in God itself is a gift from the indwelling Holy Spirit – the Comforter.

Little by little we begin to grow into a spiritually mature person. This is a life process and all Human emotions are involved. In ending these thoughts, I challenge you to simply believe in Him and trust in Him. Simply accept God’s Truth. Let Him work in your life and you will begin to truly understand just how wonderful our God is.

It may be time to truly have a Christian Awakening.
