What Christians “are” & “aren’t”
By Eric William

The true Christian Church, the church that Jesus Christ built, has the Good News
of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God's true church does NOT teach
that a person can fully control their own actions and life. Nor does the
true Church of God teach that all people learn the same exact way. Humans can't
even control their own destinies. Lots of churches teach many errors and great
fallacies.
Christians can and do influence people’s lives but they certainly do not
control them. Another thing that we cannot do as true Christians is PROVE God's
existence - that is not our business. Only the supernatural work
of Divine
Intelligence through His word and Holy Spirit
can accomplish that. Human reason and Human logic are tools in our spiritual
growth but they are not what gives us true faith and true regeneration -
only God can give us these.
Christianity teaches the Truth about sin. All humans sin and deal
with sin. This Truth in no way devalues Human life, in fact, it points to our
healing solution and it is not a list of “do’s” and “don’ts”. It is the
introduction to a personal relationship with our Creator – our Heavenly Father
- through the person of Jesus the Christ. What a wonderful living
relationship this begins.
True Christianity involves the use of both the right and left
side of your brain. True Christianity is not blind – you do have to open your
eyes. When the Christian attends church he or she begins to meet
fellow believers and gains new family members and beautiful friendships, these
are things that many Humans are lacking today. Sadly, many people do not have a
“true friend”. Jesus Christ is longing to be your truest and best friend.
Through Him you begin to meet the Family of God – God’s house is a
family.
We were first called “Christians” in Ancient Antioch – and we
are still here today.
Born Again Christians begin to experience divinity relationship in their
consciousness through the Holy Spirit. Faith experience is developed. We
continue to grow in our Christian faith throughout our lifetime. We are
certainly not complete. We are growing in Christ. God’s truth is made
accessible to all who truly seek.
It is my prayer that this short article helped you understand a little bit
more about the true Christian faith. It is my honest prayer that if you have
not met Jesus Christ yet that you take time off to do so.
“O Lord, You are the light that
Guides my feet. You are the
Map that gives me direction.
You are the peace that
Makes me strong. You are
The Leader Whom I faithfully
Follow. May Your light
Illuminate my life and Your
Guidance bring direction.
May I find inspiration in Your
Word and peace in my heart
As I follow You.
Amen”
Resting in the company of my best friend, Jesus the Christ.
