The Seventh Lampstand ~ E.W. King

The Seventh Lampstand
The Message for the Last-Day Church

Ancient Antiochene

Mysteries

Part Forty-eight

“The Mystery of the Sealing Message”.

By presbyter Eric William King (October 21st 2024)

A very important doctrine of the Ancient Antiochene Church of God is the “sealing doctrine”. The ancient Christians understood a day coming when Christ will return to take “up” His church…to be with Him in Paradise Heaven (3rd Heaven). This will be the “rapture” [“catching up and away”] of the Church. Among those “left behind” on planet Earth will be the Hundred and Forty-four Thousand “sealed” servants of God. There will be 12,000 from each of the original twelve tribes of Israel who comprise this elite group – a total of 144,000.

The question becomes; “what is this seal that they receive?” The Church understands this seal to be a specific “key of knowledge”, a special doctrine [teaching] which is to be revealed in “the time of the end”. In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we have revealed to us seven messages to seven churches given by Seven Angels. These seven messages to the seven churches of Asia Minor represent the phases of Church History. We call these the “seven epochs” of the Christian Church. As of 1900 AD we believe that we [the Church] have entered the seventh church time, that of Laodicea.

This means that we are to receive the special truth for our time, which is the counsel to Laodicea. We see that God has always given a “special truth” when needed. God through Noah warned the world of a coming great flood. Did the people listen? No. Result, they perished. We have God sending angels to warn Sodom and Gomorrah. Some took the counsel and left before being destroyed. Will we heed the counsel which Christ is trying to give to us today? Do you hear the KNOCK? God has sent the “Seventh Angel” with a last message for His people, His church.

We believe that this Seventh Angel has appeared and “sounded” (Exodus 23:20-22). We read in Revelation ch.10 that “in the days of the voice of the Seventh Angel, the mystery should be finished”. There is no “trumpet” mentioned here in the original Greek – this is not a trumpet angel. This angel is the Seventh Angel to Laodicea sounding the final “Seventh Message”. The King James renders this verse correctly. It reads that the “mystery should be finished” once the final church massage is given but it still has time yet to go forth until those in the church that need the “seal” get "the Seal".

The true Church has this sealing message and is giving it to the Church as, “meat in due season.” In Ezekiel ch.9 we read about a “seventh messenger” who appears around “six men” [messengers] from the way of the higher “north”. These represent the seven angels to the seven churches. The one who appears as the seventh has a “writing kit” in his hand, ready to write [symbolically] the “seal” on the foreheads of those who will receive this, Truth. This Seventh Angel has arrived, the message is being given.

“Behold, I will do something new; Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it?” (Isaiah43:19)

The angel from the East in Revelation ch.7 tells the “four angels” (directional angels), to hold back all the destruction until “we” have sealed the servants of God in their foreheads. The “we” here is the remnant church with the Seventh Messenger [angel from the East] who is able to deliver the last message. These “last-day” Christians are also known as the “John Class” because they receive the commission given to apostle John in Revelation ch.10. John is informed, after receiving a vision of the completed New Testament that he must “prophecy again before [in front of] many peoples…” John was not able to do that and it is thus left up to the remnant church to fulfil this important commission. Today’s true Christians comprise the “John Class” and have the “sealing message” which is the true Gospel in its fulness – the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Those who accept the sealing message are represented by the “five virgins” who had the “extra oil” in their lamps.

John heard the “Seven Thunders”, he heard all seven mysteries but was told not to write them. It is up to the Christian Church to “eat” the Word of God like John did [Revelation ch.10]. Once we digest the message, we are to give it. We can sum-up any message from God with the title; “The Word”. We need to have the Word written in our foreheads.

Because most churches today have not sincerely studied the Revelation of Jesus Christ, they do not understand the importance of Jesus’ last words to the Christian Church – His bride. They do not understand that the mysteries in Revelation are sequential, they build upon each other. Jesus’ last words to the last church are extremely important for us now. I urge you to study this message with us here at “The Shepherds Way” and “Nugget of Truth”.

Those who refuse this Seventh Message remain spiritually “asleep” in the Laodicean churches. These poor Laodiceans do not understand their true spiritual condition. It is time to make sure that you are in the “ark”, the True Church of God. Noah warned all the people in his time; “Get in the ark!” Today Jesus is giving His KNOCK. If you don’t let Him in, you will be left behind in the dark.

So please understand this important point, our last message is not just for the fallen world, but it is also for the “sleeping Church”. It is time to awake! (1st Peter 4:17) The Church is being judged [“sifted”] first before the “rapture” and final Tribulation.

Although we are astonished at newly revealed Truth, it is not new to the Bible. All of these Truth’s are already found within its pages (Sola Scriptura). God sends new light to keep us awake. Jesus says; “Watch.” Truths that have been buried in obscurity will shine forth to the humble and teachable spirit. When God reveals new light, it is up to us individually to accept it or reject it. For the true seeker the Holy Spirit will honestly show him or her just where we stand in prophetic history and spiritual upliftment will occur.

By understanding God’s word, we become sealed with the Truth.

This is most certainly true.

"The John Class".

Spiritual Food for the Lukewarm Church

In this Seventh Church Period, that of Laodicea, we are to seek out the “gold refined [tried] by fire” that we might become “spiritually rich” and “clothed in pure white clothes” - no false doctrine - spiritually pure doctrine only. (Revelation 3:14-22) We must remain “the light of the world”. (1st Thess. 5:5)

Unfortunately the Laodicean church is the picture of the Christian Church today. (Revelation 3:14-22) In the book of Revelation Jesus shows us seven churches, each church is given specific counsel to heed (learn/obey). These seven churches typify the condition of the Christian Church throughout our space/time continuum. All mysteries outlined in “sevens” mentioned in the book of Revelation are progressive in their unfolding (the septenery mysteries). This includes the counsel to the “seven churches”.

“And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified Seven Times.” (Psalm 12:6)

The problems expressed in all seven churches overlaps into the next church period, so all counsel to the seven churches is relevant even today, to one degree or another. Predominately the Christian Church as of 1900 AD (CE) is in the seventh church period, that of Laodicea.

Antiochene Church Records

Our early Antiochene Church (we were first called “Christians” in Antioch – Acts 11:26) records show that the Antiochene church understood the seven churches of Revelation ch.2-3 to represent consecutive periods in ecclesiastical history. One of our earliest records of this understanding can be found in the words of martyr Victorinus, Bishop Pettau (303AD). A current conservative list which shows what time period each church has dominated could be listed as such:

The Seven Churches….

Ephesus – apostolic church (AD 30 – 100)

Smyrna –persecuted church (AD 100-313)

Pergamos – patristic period/state church (AD 313-590)

Thyatira – papal church (AD 590-1517)

Sardis – reformed church/protestant movement (AD 1517-1730)

Philadelphia – missionary church (AD 1730 – 1900)

Laodicea – apostate church/time of the “Whirlwind Prophecy” (AD1900-?)

When John the apostle wrote the book of Revelation (AD 95-96) there were way more than just these seven churches in existence but God chose these seven as examples as pictures of the church in and throughout time. Christianity was already 60 years old when John wrote the book of Revelation. The Jewish system had already received its destruction in AD 70.

Now John was shown the future direction of the Church - typified in and through seven churches.

As of the year 1900 AD we have entered the seventh and final phase of the church – the seventh church period known as the Laodicean Era.  (this based on the historic records of the church)

"The character of the Church today is Laodicean, and as the Laodicean Period is to continue until the Church of the "New Born" is taken out, we cannot hope for any great change until the Lord comes back." ~ C.Larkin

Seven Bigger Dispensations

There are Seven Dispensations and seven distinct covenants which introduce these seven dispensations in the Bible.  Part of understanding Gods word means that we understand the sevenfold mysteries, the septenery mysteries. (7 Seals, 7 Trumpets, 7 bowls of God’s Wrath, Seven Dispensations...etc.)

NOTE: The entire Bible can be broken up into seven distinct dispensations. Each one is introduced by a covenant between God and the human race.

Dispensations are periods of time in which covenants-agreements are made between God and humanity. The Bible teaches that seven main covenants have been given throughout God’s dealing with humanity. We serve a covenantial God; He has been in constant relationship with His creation throughout our space/time continuum. The “Seven Seals” (Christian Bible) unroll all the dispensations unto us – an outline of the entire Plan of Salvation. In other words, God’s Word is full of septenery mysteries (mysteries in sets of seven).

______________________________________________

These mysteries - found and properly taught - in God’s word are never to be taken lightly. “So then, men ought to regard us (apostles) as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God.” (1 Corinthians 4:1)

Jesus is Knocking

In this Laodicean Period of the Christian church Jesus is doing something…He is knocking at your door. Do you hear Him? (Revelation 3:20)  (Proverbs 3:5-6) God has stirred up a spiritual storm on this planet…through this storm Jesus is giving THE KNOCK!

We are immersed in the Whirlwind Prophecy! The storm has begun! (Jeremiah 25:12-38)

As true Christians it is time to accept the pure doctrine of Sola Scriptura. It is time to follow the Shepherds Way…our Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We must obey God above man. (Acts 5:29)

Spiritual Food for TODAY!
“..Gold refined in the fire.”

Now: Today the church finds itself broken apart into denominationalism. (Acts 20:28-31) The Laodicean period started in AD 1900 and continues on in our time. (2nd Peter 3:3-4) Here at “The Shepherds Way” & “Nugget of Truth” we teach that after the first 400 years of the church (during the Pergamos Period) Satan introduced the false Christianity by melding the church and state (creating a religio-political system). Also the Babylonian mystery religions infiltrated the church. The “world of sectarianism” began. (The Nicolaitans infiltrated the church – Revelation 2:15)

The “Babylonian Cup” started to enter the church during the Pergamos Period. Through the modern ecumenical movement this cup has entered in fullness. We are now officially in the Whirlwind Prophecy. (Jeremiah 25:12-38)

Today the false teachings are blossoming in America through all of the fallen denominations. This is the Laodicean condition of the church. It is no longer a big deal to have distorted views about Jesus and the Bible. As long as you call yourself “Christian” everything is okay. These false teachings have entered the theological schools and “New Age” psychology has become the “new world religion”. Today those caught in the fallen world of Christendom are being called OUT of Babylon! God’s word is calling them out.

God wants to keep His children free from false worship. Why? Because true worship has to do with proper relationship. If one truly loves God he or she will also hate that which is displeasing to God. We (as true children of God) are commanded to stay away from those who out-right hate God. (2nd Corinthians 6:14-17)

Distancing oneself from old religious practices can bring problems. Close friends and even relatives may oppose such a change in your lifestyle. To become a true Christian one must truly count the cost. (Matthew 10:32-37)

The true Christian Church has the WORD of God.

Our attitude toward the Scriptures (the Christian Bible) governs our conceptions and conclusions. We hold to Sola Scriptura (the Bible Alone). (Proverbs 30:6) Our teachings do not allow for additions or subtractions from God’s word. All of our biblical doctrine must be found in Scripture and taught from Scripture.  Having stated that, we also recognize the importance of understanding other things such as the Seven Rules of Biblical Interpretation which help substantiate additional facts.

Please stay with us here at “The Shepherds Way”. We truly believe that we have the food that the Laodicean church needs to awaken. We have been blessed to have the pure connection with the first Antiochene Church. Study God’s word with us as often as you can. Learn the doctrines - become “sealed with the Truth”. (Isaiah 8:16; Ephesians 1:13-14) Learn just where we are in prophetic history. Learn and understand the Whirlwind Prophecy. (Jeremiah 25:32; 23:19-20)

Through the Whirlwind Prophecy even the false-Christians are being exposed. (Jeremiah 25:32-38; 1st Peter 4:17)

Praying for all the saints…resting in my savior Jesus Christ…
