The Hope of God

 


The God Of Hope

This life is full of tests and trials;

Many heartaches, and sorrows;
But our great Father knows it all!
He sees all our tomorrows.

Our enemy seeks to destroy,
And our hope take away.
He oft makes things seem so big and hard,
That we dread to face the day.

But we serve the God Who does all well!
Nothing is too hard for Him!
He oft’ works in ways we cannot see,
To change people from within!

We can trust Him, e’en in the darkness,
For He sees all things clearly.
God hears and answers our cries and prayers,
For He loves us, so dearly!

So often God uses the hard things.
He turns the darkness to light.
God wants us to trust fully in Him,
For He can make all things right!

As He helps us believe and trust Him,
He gives us His joy and peace!
He is the God of hope and power,
Whose reign will never cease!

So take heart, as you behold your God.
Let His sweet peace be your stay!
Ask; and trust Him to answer your cries.
Rest your soul on Him each day.
