The Dispensational System of Theology, or point of view, terms need to be explained. There is no need to fear these terms. They describe some simple concepts related to our understanding of the Old Testament Covenants and how God will develop His kingdom program. Even if you have negative feelings about the term Dispensationalism, please go through the following brief explanation of what it is. It could be that it has never been clearly explained. Dispensationalism has influenced the doctrinal beliefs of many churches, including the Baptist church, the Bible churches, the Pentecostal churches, and many other non-denominational Evangelical churches. You may even be Dispensational in your thinking although not be calling yourself a Dispensationalist. Christian is always a better term, but terms like Dispensationalist helps to define where we are coming from when it comes to our views on Endtimes and the present and future Kingdom of God.
Definition
* A Dispensation - The system by which anything is administered. In Christian terms, looking back, it refers to a period in history whereby God dealt with man in a specific way. (Conscience, Law, Grace)
* Dispensationalism - A system of theology that sees God working with man in different ways during different dispensations. While 'Dispensations' are not ages, but stewardships, or administrations, we tend to see them now as ages since we look back on specific time periods when they were in force.
* Dispensationalism is distinguished by three key principles.
1 - A clear distinction between God's program for Israel and God's program for the Church.
2 - A consistent and regular use of a literal principle of interpretation
3 - The understanding of the purpose of God as His own glory rather than the salvation of mankind.
Ok, what does this mean in layman's terms. Read on.
What about the Dispensations?
The key to Dispensationalism is not in the definition or recognition of a specific number of dispensations. This is a misunderstanding of the opponents of Dispensationalism. Almost all theologians will recognize that God worked differently through the Law than He did through Grace. That is not to say that salvation was attained in a different manner, but that the responsibilities given to man by God were different during the period of the giving of the Law up to the cross, just as they were different for Adam and Eve. The Jews were to show their true faith by doing what God had commanded, even though they couldn't keep the moral Law. That's what the sacrifices were for. When the apostle Paul said that as to the Law he was blameless, he didn't mean that he never sinned, but that he obeyed God by following the guidelines of the Law when he did sin, and animal sacrifices were offered for his sins by the priests in the temple. Salvation came not by keeping the law, but by seeing it's true purpose in exposing sin, and turning to God for salvation. The Jews weren't saved based on how well they kept the law, (as many of them thought) as that would be salvation by works. They were saved through faith in God, and the work of Christ on the cross was counted for them, even though it hadn't happened yet.
Dispensationalists will define three key dispensations, (1) The Mosaic Law, (2) The present age of Grace, and (3) the future Millennial Kingdom. Most will agree about the first two, and Covenant theology will disagree about the third, seeing this as the 'eternal state'. (Since they don't see a literal Millennial Kingdom - the future literal fulfillment of the Davidic Kingdom.)
A greater breakdown of specific dispensations is possible, giving most traditional Dispensationalists seven recognizable dispensations.
1. Innocence - Adam
2. Conscience - After man sinned, up to the flood
3. Government - After the flood, man allowed to eat meat, death penalty instituted
4. Promise - Abraham up to Moses and the giving of the Law
5. Law - Moses to the cross
6. Grace - The cross to the Millennial Kingdom
7. Millennial Kingdom - A 1000 year reign of Christ on earth centered in Jerusalem
While not everyone needs to agree on this breakdown, the point from the Dispensationalists view is that God is working with man in a progressive way. At each stage man has failed to be obedient to the responsibilities set forth by God. The method of salvation, justification by faith alone, never changes through the dispensations. The responsibilities God gives to man does change however. The Jews were to be obedient to the Law if they wished God's blessing of Land. If they were disobedient, they would be scattered. However, God promises to always bring them back to the land promised to Abraham in the Abrahamic Covenant. After the cross, believers no longer need the Law, which pointed to Christ as the one that would take away sin through his perfect sacrifice. (Heb 10) We are under a new Law, the Law of Grace. We have more revelation about God, and are no longer required to keep ceremonial laws given to the Jews. The moral law is always in effect as a guide, but we are no longer condemned by it, since we have a savior that has overcome for us.
Remember that making a distinction between these time periods is not what makes someone Dispensational. Recognizing the progressive nature, and seeing the church as part of Plan A and not Plan B is what makes someone Dispensational. Dispensationalists see a clear distinction between God's program for Israel and God's program for the church. God is not finished with Israel. The church didn't take Israel's place. They have been set aside temporarily, but in the Endtimes will be brought back to the promised land, cleansed, and given a new heart. (Gen 12, Deut 30, 2 Sam 7, Jer 31)
Just to clarify what I mean by Plan A and Plan B, I can see how some would say that the church is God's Plan B. However, God knew that the Jews would reject their Messiah. Daniel 9 tells us that the Messiah would be cut off, or killed, and Isaiah 53 speaks of the suffering servant. To call the church Plan B sounds too much like it was his second best plan, as if his efforts were thwarted. God has one redemptive plan for all mankind that was foretold in Genesis 3. The Messiah would come and defeat Satan and death. Now, this doesn't mean that his plan for Israel, and the promises/covenants made with the forefathers are null and void. They are not.
So what is the key to Dispensationalism?
The literal method of interpretation is the key. Using the literal method of interpreting the biblical covenants and prophecy leads to a specific set of core beliefs about God's kingdom program, and what the future will hold for ethnic Israel and for the Church. We therefore recognize a distinction between Israel and the Church, and a promised future earthly reign of Christ on the throne of David. (The Davidic Kingdom.) This leads a person to some very specific conclusions about the Endtimes.
* Israel must be re-gathered to their land as promised by God.
* Daniel's seventieth week prophecy specifically refers to the purging of the nation Israel, and not the Church. These were the clear words spoken to Daniel. The church doesn't need purging from sin. It is already clean.
* Some of the warnings in Matthew 24 are directed at the Jews, and not the Church (since God will be finishing His plan with national Israel)
* A Pretribulation rapture - Israel is seen in Daniel as the key player during the tribulation, not the Church. God removes the elect when he brings judgment on the world. i.e. Noah, John 14, 1 Thess 4:16.
* Premillennialism - A literal 1000 year Millennial Kingdom, where Christ returns before the Millennium starts. Revelation 20 doesn't give us a reason to interpret the 1000 years as symbolic. Also, Dispensationalists see the promised literal reign of Christ in the OT. Note the chronological order of events between Revelation 19-21.
Charles Ryrie in his book 'Dispensationalism' points out that some Christians have actually called Dispensationalism heretical. Actually it is people that use words like 'heretical' for non essential doctrinal beliefs that are the ones that cause division in the Church. Whether a person believes in a literal future Millennial Kingdom is not essential Christian doctrine. It doesn't rank up there with the Deity of Christ, the Trinity, the Atonement, etc. A house divided against itself will not stand. When we get to heaven, or the Millennial Kingdom, whichever will come first, we will understand the truth of all the word of God, but until then there are essential doctrines of the faith that are worth going to battle over. Others are not, since we don't want to be found going to battle with each other, and therefore, with Jesus Christ Himself.
The History of Dispensationalism
While the opponents of Dispensationalism will point out that as a system of theology it is relatively new, it is notable that there is evidence from the early church writers that there was clearly an understanding that God dealt with His people differently in progressive dispensations, and that Israel wasn't seen as replaced by the Church. A small reference to some of these writings is found in 'The Moody Handbook of Theology" by Paul Ennis. He mentions the following Christians as being in the history of the development of Dispensationalism.
* Justin Martyr (A.D. 110-165)
* Iranaeus (A.D. 130-200)
* Clement of Alexandria (A.D. 150-220)
* Augustine (A.D. 354-430)
Of the above Ryrie says "It is not suggested nor should it be inferred that these early Church Fathers were dispensationalists in the modern sense of the word. But it is true that some of them enunciated principles which later developed into Dispensationalism, and it may be rightly said that they held primitive or early dispensational concepts." With this understanding, the following have written in support of some or all dispensational principles.
Some Dispensational writers
* Pierre Poiret (1646-1719)
* John Edwards (1637-1716)
* Isaac Watts (1674-1748)
* John Nelson Darby (1800-1882)
* C.I. Scofield (1843-1921)
* Lewis Sperry Chafer
* Charles Ryrie
* Dwight Pentecost

“The Kingdom Mystery.”
By presbyter Eric William King (September 13th 2024)
Jesus promised the “coming of God’s Kingdom” and He ushered it in. How? And when? We must understand that ancient Israel had been promised a coming kingdom on this Earth, ruled by a perfect King, Messiah. All the prophets mention or allude to this God King. King David was a type of the final Messiah. Israel kept disobeying God and kept going into and out of pagan captivity all the way up to Jesus Christ. Before Jesus appeared, there is a 400-year gap between the Old and New Testament. God developed a special and protected remnant of His true followers during this time. This group was known as the Essenes.
The Essenes protected Sacred Scripture and the original Davidic bloodline all the way up to Jesus Christ. This restoration of a Paradise Kingdom started all the way back, after Adam and Eve fell into sin. Since then, this whole planet including the spiritual condition of Humanity must be restored. Hence, the coming of the perfect man and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
When Jesus the Messiah appeared, Israel thought that He would set up His kingdom right away, but He did not. They did not understand that in order for anybody to properly enter the Kingdom they must be “washed clean” both “inside and out” of all sin. Then they must receive a completely new body, one that can never sin again. They did not understand the atonement that Jesus must give first. They didn’t understand that He must die.
After His death and resurrection, all those who accept His atonement can inherit the Kingdom. Jesus, in the meantime, would build His Church, so that He could call all people into the Kingdom before He finally sets it up at the Second Coming. We live in a special dispensation. The Christian Church is the Kingdom in Mystery. We are that Kingdom and ambassadors of that Kingdom. The Christian Church is a spiritual organism, the “body of Christ” on Earth. Chosen before the “foundation of the Earth.” (Ephesians 1:4) Jesus spoke about this “Kingdom mystery” in His parables.
The spiritual aspects of God’s Kingdom “cometh not with observation” (Luke 17:20-21). This reality comes at the “New Birth”. When one becomes a true disciple he or she is “born again” by the Spirit of God – and hence becomes a Kingdom Child. One time some Pharisees confronted Jesus regarding the coming of God’s Kingdom. “When would it come?”, they asked. Jesus responded: “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within in you.” (Luke 17:21)
In this passage where Jesus states, “the kingdom of God is within you” it can also read properly in the Greek, “the kingdom of God is amongst you”. This means that Jesus was offering them the Kingdom, He being the King of that Kingdom standing in their midst. We must understand that Israel rejected their True King – they crucified Him. Jesus was making a legitimate offer. Jesus is also teaching a deeper meaning of the Kingdom to those who did (do) accept Him and that was the fact that they could begin to experience the Kingdom of God (Paradise) even now, within their pneuma (spirit). There will still be a literal coming Kingdom which starts with the “New Earth” in the Millennial Kingdom (the Seventh Dispensation) but the Kingdom message goes much deeper.
Now the true saints of God, in this Church Dispensation, can see and experience the Kingdom of God in the assembly of Born-Again Children and even when alone on walks or sitting at home. Being around family, friends, and our pets. When we see God’s goodness operative in this Fallen World, we see flashes of the Kingdom shine bright. In good memories, while working in the garden – we see the beautiful Kingdom of God. It starts with a boiling within the soul.
A mature Christian learns to remain in this mind state – most of the time. Christian meditation along with prayer and proclaiming affirmations helps focus.
The true Church is not a building. The true Church is not its outward organization, though these things are important for its order. Bishops, Pastors, Teachers, Healers may all be a part of God’s “body on Earth” but the true Church starts with one’s own relationship with God and the understanding of His word. It also includes one’s relationship with others, both believers and non-believers. Through the Holy Sacraments we receive the cement of our membership in God’s Kingdom. Through the understanding of God’s word, we replace our fallen will with the will of God. The Holy Spirit becomes our ultimate guide and teacher. We gain the realization of being true Kingdom members.
The true Church is “catholic” which simply means universal. It is found all over this planet. True saints can recognize other saints through the Spirit of God. The true Church is “orthodox” in its thinking – orthodox meaning “straight thought”. Our minds are centered on the Kingdom of God. Jesus tells us that in all we do “seek ye first the Kingdom of God”. (Matthew 6:33) And Jesus says; “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21)
Oh, how I love thy Kingdom oh LORD.
This is most certainly true.

The Ecclesiastical Dispensation
(The Church Dispensation)
By Eric William King
A basic outline of the Sixth Dispensation looks something like this;
Ecclesiastical Responsibility: John 1:12; Romans 8:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9
Ecclesiastical Failure: John 5:39-40; 2nd Timothy 3:1-7
Ecclesiastical Judgment: 2nd Thessalonians 2:3; 2nd Timothy 4:3
The Ecclesiastical Dispensation (also known as “The Dispensation of Grace”) was officially started on Pentecost when the Holy Spirit filled the first believers of the first church (Acts 2:1-13). We could also say that this dispensation will last from the “cross” to the “crown” of Jesus Christ our Savior. While here on Earth Jesus promised to “build His church” and it is His church (Matthew 16:18).
The Greek word for “church” is ekklesia and simply means “an assembly of called out people” or “believers”. In this sense the church is really not a building but a people. In America many think of the church as a denomination or a building…this is wrong thinking.
Church Built on Jesus Christ
In Matthew 16:15-19 we read about Jesus asking His disciples, “Who do you say I am?”. Apostle Peter responds that Jesus is the “Messiah, the Son of the Living God.” The name Peter in Greek means “a stone” (petros). In Jesus’ response back to Peter we see a play on words. Jesus basically says back, “You are Peter (a small stone - petros) but on this Rock (Greek word “petra” meaning “large rock” - the testimony of Peter recognizing Jesus as Messiah) I will build my Church.” Thus, the true church is built on the fact that Jesus is the true Messiah, the church is not built “on Peter”.
Later Apostle Peter himself affirms that Jesus is the true Rock and that the church is built on Christ and not him (1st Peter 2:4-8). Though ancient Israel can be seen as an ekklesia (church) it is not the New Testament church. The New Testament church was built by Jesus Christ and is a new creation. Old Testament prophets hinted of the Christian church but they did not understand it. Apostle Paul in the book of Ephesians explains that the Christian church was a mystery to the Israelites (Ephesians 1:9-10). The Christian church would allow all people, not just Israelites into its assembly.
Gentiles Called In
When the Messiah came the literal Israelites thought that He would immediately “set up” His kingdom. Jesus did not do that, instead He built His church and had Apostle Paul begin to call in all people from every kindred, race, tribe, and tongue. This church dispensation will end when the last Gentile is called in (Romans 11:25). When the church is complete then it will be Raptured up thus ending the Ecclesiastical Dispensation (1st Corinthians 15:51-53).
In this dispensation of grace God is calling all of His true children into “the Kingdom of God”. True Christians become ambassadors of the Kingdom message (2nd Corinthians 5:20) through the spreading of the Good News (the Gospel of Jesus Christ). In a sense this dispensation is a Parenthetical Dispensation - between the dispersion of Israel and their restoration which will completely happen at the end of the Seven Year Tribulation (Acts 3:20-22).
The Church Mystery
Apostle Paul calls this dispensation “the mystery, which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men” (Ephesians 3:3-6). It stresses that the Gentiles are to be saved (Romans 9:24-30). The church has its King, Jesus Christ and He is currently seated at “the right hand of the Father” on the Heavenly throne. When Jesus Christ returns He will be “given the throne of His father David” (Luke 1:32; Matthew 19:28-30) and restore the Davidic throne on Earth in Glory.
In this sense the Christian church is already experiencing the “Davidic covenant”. We are also experiencing the beginning of the New Covenant. Though the church is experiencing the blessings of the New Covenant, having reconciliation with God, having the blessing of fellowship with other believers – we will truly not experience the fullness of the New Covenant until the Millennial Reign of Christ.
We are all following the Divine Course of the Ages as planned by Divine Intelligence (God). The Christian church is depicted as “the body of Christ on earth” (1st Corinthians 12:12-31). It is not to be divided (1st Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:4-6; Romans 16:17-18). The church members are referred to as “Christians” – a name given to us first in Antioch (Acts 11:26). The true church is ultimately being taught and formed by the Holy Spirit.
Church Sacraments
Those who belong to the true church were “purchased” by the “blood of the Lamb (Jesus)” (Romans 3:24-25; 1st Corinthians 6:20; 1st Peter 1:18-19). We have two sacraments in this dispensation that we practice and these or the taking of “the Lord’s supper” and “water baptism”. We also “do not forsake the gathering of ourselves together” – we attend church (Hebrews 10:25).
You’re Invited
Once you truly accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, God, and Savior you become a Christian. If you are not a literal Israelite (a Gentile) and become a Christian you are no longer Gentile but a true son or daughter of God. If you are Israelite or Jewish and you become a Christian you are no longer Jew – you are Christian. Today you hear people calling themselves “Jewish Christians” and the Bible does not teach that. If you are a true Christian “behold, all things become NEW” – you are CHRISTIAN and not Jew or Gentile (2nd Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 3:28).
To be a member of Christ’s church is to be Christian.
There are only three groups mentioned in Scripture and these are “Jews – Israelites”, “Gentiles” – all others, and “Christians” – “the Church of God” and everyone belongs to one of these groups (1st Corinthians 10:32).
Here at “The Shepherds Way” and “Nugget of Truth” I invite you in this Dispensation of Grace to receive true forgiveness and reconciliation with God through hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your true Savior and King.
When this church dispensation ends we will enter the final dispensation on this planet and that will be the Millennial Reign of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming 1000 year reign of Christ will be the Seventh and Final Dispensation before the New Creation of ALL THINGS.
Thank you for studying God’s word with us and may you experience His joy in your life.
The Word of God is TRUTH.

“The Mystery-sting of Truth.”
By presbyter Eric William King (November 9th 2024)
Ancient Israel hated their prophets. Why? Because they corrected them, nobody likes to be corrected. Today wherever I go to share and give the Gospel in Fulness I sometimes get ridiculed when I start talking about God’s judgment. Many people will say, “That is too negative.” We hear people today using the phrase “negative”. The fact is, we need both negative and positive posts to get energy.
There is nothing truly “negative”. There is, however, sin. Sin and evil are very real. When somebody does something terrible, such as a school shooting, we hear people say things like, “That is so negative, why not focus on positive?” The fact is, sin is EVIL. We need to call “sin” sin and we need to call “evil” evil. Who decides the definition of what is negative and positive? What you call “positive” may not be something that God likes. It is the Creator who set the standard, it is the Divine Parent. Today, nobody cares about parents. When is the last time you, as an adult, took time out to visit your parents or parent?
If you do not care about your own parents, you do not care about God. If you are the one who decides ultimate “good” and “evil” then you are in trouble. Why? Because you are infected with sin and you are not the Creator – you are not God. No? You say there is no such thing as evil and sin? Yikes
The fact is we are not hear to find our “own path” we are here to locate “The Path”. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life – He is the Creator of this planet and all that you are. Modern Christians who share the “fulness of the Gospel” are hated just as ancient Ahab hated Elijah the prophet and regarded him as his enemy. Why? Because Truth exposes selfish error. Today the Christian is hated just the same by the proud and fallen Human – the Human piece of grass.
Any Christian who is walking on the straight path knows that we must reprove sin. We are ridiculed and picked on as Christians simply because we believe that there is such a thing as “sin” and there is such a thing as “evil”. We also believe in a loving Creator who has given all Humans limited free-will and a choice. We also know that God knows those who are His.
Today, Satan has cast doubt upon the hearts of many. Do you not know that when you look around at the relationship of people and all of creation you are looking at life? Life is a gift. Why are politicians fighting and yelling? For us Christians, we are looking for a much better Kingdom than anything offered down here in the bucket of sin. As Christians we have a message of True Life – everlasting life. We have our sins forgiven and we are “cleansed” from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS by our Loving Creator – GOD. We are members of the Perfect Kingdom. Our God looks upon us with love and we certainly talk to Him and love Him back.
So sad that the lost have no Heavenly Parent to talk with and confide in, especially in times of trouble. Is your God loving enough to write you His thoughts and teachings? Our God gave us his word, the Holy Scriptures. God came down into our reality in the person of Jesus Christ – He loves us so much. He also sent Sophia – the Holy Spirit to be with us always. Indeed, God is a family. Our Almighty God has given us instructions, He has warned us of what is to come and told us to be very careful, He has told us to forgive our enemies and love them.
God has set a table for us every Sunday. We partake as true brothers and sisters in the Family of God. My family is God’s family. My God-family helps me, prays for me, spends time with me and loves me unconditionally. If you do not have this and long for it, accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and friend – find a true Christian Church. Become a real Christian. Help hand out food at the food bank of a church – watch the smiles on the faces of those who truly need help. Serving our God means we serve others. Stop being so worried always about “you” all the time and help somebody else. When is the last time you actually fed the poor or prayed for healing and help for others? I don’t mean just sending a check in the mail. Get out – get real!
Many who say that they are “spiritual” never talk to God, never help others. They sit and meditate and tell everybody that they are “God”. Time to wake up. Some people have said that Christians don’t really help those in need. Really? Look at the Christian organization called; “Samaritans Purse”. Look online at how much money, planes, food and medical supplies and temporary housing are given to help people and disaster relief areas by them and hundreds of thousands of Christians. One of many organizations actually doing something – not just sitting around, burning incense and staring at a Buddha.
The fallen-religions get you to only focus on “self”. Self-esteem and self-help books abound. People are learning about food, physical health, exercise, who you should and should not sleep with. etc. Most all of these self-help gimmicks are presented by atheists who do not believe in sin, forgiveness, and a proper relationship with God. Result, trash in – trash out.
Today, people are choosing not to listen to the warnings from Heavenly Father’s word. They are choosing darkness, war, baby killing, God hating, violence, etc. The family has been decimated. Satan has redefined “family”. He has taken fathers away; he has replaced the father with the Father of Lies. Many of todays parents who were raised Christian became strong in their dealings and working with others because their parents raised them in Christianity, this is what made them strong. Growing up and getting married, these same people stopped taking their new children to church. What is the result? As the children grow up and realize how big and evil this planet actually is, they have nothing to return to, they have lost God.
Christian strength is what keeps the family truly strong through thick and thin. Listening to the prophetic voice on the pages of God’s letter is also extremely important. When we watch what is going on in the news and all around the planet, we see that our God has told us the Truth. Everything that He warned us about and protects us from is coming true.
I know that I was blessed to grow up with a true Christian mother. She went out of her way to take me to church every Sunday. She had me baptized as a child. She made sure that I went through catechism. She prayed with me at night when I went to bed. She sang Christian songs to me when I was sick. Yes, I am blessed to have a mother that I will live together with in Heaven and in God’s Kingdom forever. Sadly, many of my own family members who now ridicule God, make fun of Christianity – they will not be there and that is their sorry choice.
The pagan gods never talk about a God who loved us so much that He came here and died for us. No pagan religion or atheism has any true remedy for sin. In fact, they deny sin and evil and say that you are your “own god”. But wait, isn’t that what Lucifer did? What has happened to him?
God will not remove objections to our faith. God is allowing time to pass in this sixth-dispensation of time according to His plan [we are truly in the “dispensation of Grace”]. It is time to choose. You are in a space and time to choose your Creator, your Heavenly Parent. You must take time out to find Jesus. Seek for Him with all of your heart. Get serious. This could be the last day. Will you be with your loved ones in Heaven? Or suffering for all eternity in hell?
All those who are Christians in your family you will never see again, if you reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Why would you choose spiritual death?
Though many will continue to refuse this precious “Light of the World” many also will accept Jesus the Christ and receive true LIFE and ILLUMINATION. Forgiveness of all of your sins, past, present, and future. No matter how good you think you are in comparison to other fallen Humans you are nothing in comparison to a perfect God. Stop comparing what you do and who you are to others and look to Jesus Christ.
Sadly, for many the Truth is still “hidden”. Others who hear the Truth simply don’t want it. To them, they are “all that and a bag of chips”. They truly feel “I have need of nothing”. They will continue to hate Christians and place themselves in this false idea; “I am smarter than those stupid Christians. I have college degrees.” No Human knowledge is going to get you into heaven. The unteachable fallen people will ultimately praise the Son of Perdition – they will go to hell. Many hear such Truths and say; “You are so negative.” That’s like saying to somebody who is holding his or her hand over a fire; “Why are you crying and screaming? Can’t you just be positive?”
Today many people tell us modern messengers of the Gospel to “shut up” or “only speak positive things”. These people are ignoring the facts and reality. God has said regarding the so called “positive” thinkers;
“They tell the prophets, “Shut up – we don’t want more of your reports!” Or they say, “Don’t tell us the Truth; tell us nice (positive) things; tell us lies. Forget all this gloom; we’ve heard more than enough about your ‘Holy One of Israel’ and all he says.” This is the reply of the Holy One of Israel: Because you despise what I tell you and trust instead in frauds and lies and won’t repent, therefore calamity will come upon you suddenly, as a bulging wall that bursts and falls; in one moment it comes crashing down.” (Isaiah 30:10-14)
We are learning the truth about Truth.
This is most certainly true.
