Sleeping Christians…WAKE UP!

This message is a message of love for the “sleeping church”.

“Woe to the obstinate children” declares the LORD, “to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not from my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin; who go down to Egypt without consulting me; who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection, to Egypt’s shade for refuge. But Pharaoh’s protection will be to your shame, Egypt’s shade will bring you disgrace.” [Isaiah 30:1-3]

God’s ancient Israel was guilty of trusting in the worldly rulers and leaders of their time instead of God. Even today we witness the fallen Laodicean church trusting in man. Even personal family members who say that they are “Christian” conspire against their own family members.

“Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.” [Isaiah 30:8]

God wants His latter-day people to remember this. The prophets’ writings must remain intact, recorded in the Scroll that keeps unrolling unto the true saints. Only Jesus Christ can “open the scroll” of the Scriptures for His saints. Christians must study the depth of God’s word in order to truly grow and learn.

Satan wants Christians to “shut up”!

Sadly, many who claim to be Christian today are not studying God’s word in depth. As a matter of fact their “politically correct” responses to true morality show that they have all “fallen asleep”. They say to the latter-day saints of Ancient Antioch; “Shut up with your Christian message! We do not need to be told what is ‘right’ and or ‘what is wrong’”.

“They say to the seers, “See no more visions!” and to the prophets, “Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions, Leave this way, get off the path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel.” [Isaiah 30:11]

They killed the true prophets for simply speaking the Truth and warning the people. The Christian church today has no excuse for falling into the errors of the past. So what are many so called “Christians” doing today with the present warning messages?

“These are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the LORD’s instruction.” [Isaiah 30:9]

People are listening to the human fallen knowledge of “psychology” which changes its understanding every month. People are reading pagan books which tell them that “they are God!”. Many think that they are just “too good” to accept any idea of Divine Intelligence, in other words; “We humans are all that and a bag of chips!”

And what is the ‘fruit’ of this ideology? Just watch the news and see all the chaos of prideful man.

They killed the prophets for simply speaking frankly - in the place of Divine Truth they swallowed deceit. Our business as latter-day Christians is not to simply ‘fault find’ and point out sin. We are to bring to light just where humanity as a whole stands in prophetic history and to warn them with the Truth of God’s Word - not mans.

“Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?” [Isaiah 2:22]

Satan has succeeded in bringing in much false doctrine through fallen church leadership. Many very smart people have been duped by the false tongue of those who have no right to teach God’s word because they have never really studied it nor have they gained a personal experience from it in their lives.

The “spirit of worldliness” has infiltrated the church. We are most certainly in the blossoming of the Laodicean state of the Christian church. Undisciplined churches attack ministers who, though imperfect, are teaching the Word of God. They are threatened by the Truth. God’s word exposes them all as hypocrites. It is always easy (sissy la la) to attack the “messengers” instead of listening to the Truth of the message. All practicing sinners (Christians who refuse to grow) look for excuses.

Did Your Parents Shepherd You?

Jesus said that John the Baptist came neither “eating” (glutton) or “drinking” (alcohol) and you felt that he could not understand sinners (he was “stuck up”). So, Jesus said, “I came both eating and drinking and you claim that I have a devil.” In other words, “you simple minded morons” - you find any excuse to ignore the Truth…you do not understand the seriousness of your own sinful nature. (Matthew 11:18-19)

It is always easy to attack the imperfect messenger. By doing this many explain that they need no “Shepherd”. Well, your parents ‘shepherded’ you while growing up, your fellow co-worker trained (shepherded you) while learning your job. We have all been shepherded, taught and led by those wise people who have gone before.

Most certainly God has no need for “’know it all’ goats”!

God warns; “If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned.” [Jeremiah 18:7]

Seven Women, Seven Churches

In the Book of Revelation Jesus Christ gives counsel to “the seven churches”. These churches represent God’s true Church throughout time and the difficulties that it would experience. All the counsel given to these churches is applicable for us today but particularly the last church, the seventh - the Laodicean church. This depicts the state of the Christian Church right before the rapture of the Church.

The true Church of Jesus Christ is referred to as His “Bride”, the false church is the spiritual “Harlot Church” mentioned in Revelation ch.17. She is “cheating” on Christ. She mixes pagan religions and fallen human psychology with her spiritual understandings. This is most of the today’s fallen world.

“Hear ye the Rod!”

The True Church and the False Church are depicted as women. The prophet Isaiah spoke of a time when “seven women will take hold of one man (Christ) and say, “We will eat our own bread and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by thy name. Take away our disgrace.” [Isaiah 4:1] This means that they wish to be called “Christian” only by name but not by practice. True Christians were first called “Christian” in Ancient Antioch…that true church is still here today! [Acts 11:26]. Isaiah goes on to say that all this will be happening in “the day of the Branch (Jesus Christ)”. His true glorious Church is witnessing this.

Who are these “seven women”? They are those from “the seven churches” who heeded not the counsel of “the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ)”. Those true Christians that heed the counsel of Jesus Christ are those who “hear the Rod” – the Rod of Correction!

“Heed the Rod and the One who appointed it!” [Micah 6:9]

True Christians are to warn the “sleeping Christians”. “When I [the LORD] say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.” [Ezekiel 3:18] Are the Churches today warning this unsaved planet?

God corrects those whom He loves. [Hebrews 12:7-11]
