When was the Mosaic Law given?
The Law was given 430 years after Abraham. It had a total of 613 laws. God gave it to magnify the fact that nobody could perfectly obey Him with their fallen nature. Through the Law of 613 laws came the true "knowledge of Sin". Under the New Covenant we have free salvation and obey the Laws of God the Son, which are found in the New Covenant (1st Thessalonians 4:2).

The Mosaic Law, also known as the Law of Moses, refers to the body of laws given by God to the Israelites through Moses, primarily found in the first five books of the Bible (the Pentateuch or Torah). This comprehensive legal and ethical code includes the Ten Commandments and various regulations for worship and societal living, which were given to guide the Israelites after their exodus from Egypt. The laws are significant in the Jewish religion and are believed to have been received directly from God by Moses on Mount Sinai. The purpose of the Mosaic Law includes revealing God's holy character and setting apart the nation of Israel from other nations.
