Antiochene
Christians & Dispensations
As
Ancient Antiochene Christians we have been blessed to receive the theological
outline of God’s plan. It is popular today to attack any idea of “dispensational
theology”. The misinformed who have been taught to hate dispensational
theology start their arguments out with: “Dispensational theology is a new
thing, invented by some guy named John Darby.” And of course, this is not true.
We (the AACG) have documented the fact that the early patristic saints were
beginning to organize a dispensational based theology. These are the facts. The
early Christian church was developing a dispensational theology, long before
the Laodicean Epoch of denominationalism.
True theology demonstrates that we serve a covenantial God.
God makes promises and agreements with His people. Some of these are
conditional promises and some are unconditional promises. Christians who deny
the process of dispensing sacred time for the revelatory program of spiritual
growth will not understand true theology.
The codified dispensational understanding for us today is the fact that
there are seven main covenants that God makes throughout our Christian Bible
and each one introduces a new dispensation [probationary period of time]. So, there
are seven main dispensations and we are currently experiencing the 6th.
We also accept St. Peter’s description of the three “Earth
ages”. He lists them in 2nd Peter 3:4-13. We are currently
experiencing the “second Earth age”. We finally accept the “Seven Epochal”
understanding of the Christian church. This teaching is not original with our
ministry. Early protestants held to this understanding and ancient teaching
also. The AACG has documented this. This teaching involves the belief that
since the church started, it will experience seven special epochs of time.
These periods of time have been documented by the ancient church and it shows
that we are currently living in the final, seventh “epoch” of the church. This
seventh time of the church is known as the “Laodicean period (epoch)”.
We have encouraged true Christians to study what we have
found and we post our messages here for free. We have helped many come to a
better understanding of true Christian history and the development of early Christian
theology. It is important to know just where the Christian church stands on the
stage of prophetic history. Jesus commands us to “Watch!”
Sadly, there are denominated churches trying to correct the
Ancient Antiochene Church of God ~ the Church of the First Born. The true
church is not a “denomination” and certainly doesn’t need “correction” from a
denominated sect. Jesus has only ONE church. This is difficult for many to
grasp. In fact, by believing in only one true God and one true Church you will
face many problems in this fallen world. We do not mean to turn anybody away
from our God - and at the same time we must obey our only one true God. God is
LOVE. True Love protects her sons and daughters.
We thank God for revealing to us His “Divine Plan”. We are
not left in the dark. Divine Intelligence wants us to know Him. We have a
Divine Family, a Holy Trinity parent. God has placed us in this Cosmic School
and has put humanity through different classes of history. God outlines seven
specific dispensations of time for us to see a clearer picture. Various
features of this plan have appointed times, times where very special
events take place.
Each dispensation develops another accomplishment along the
way. Humanity begins to understand more and more each new generation. God’s
will is continuing to manifest on Earth. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on
Earth as it is in Heaven.” The time is at hand for this Earth age to end. Those
Christians who study this Divine Plan can appreciate the times and seasons. We
see the hint of the “divine clock” by enjoying the yearly seasons, knowing that
God is alive and moving.
We are not prepared for that which is to come if we have not
been properly instructed. This is why every Ancient Antiochene Christian
gets properly instructed here. They become powerful witnesses to this fallen
world. Much truth has now been uncovered; it is harvesting time. God is
currently “sifting” His people.
Christians who accept the counsel to Laodicea have allowed
their faith to be placed in the Holy Fire. Jesus says to them; “Come buy of me,
gold refined in the fire.” Our faith must be purged of all falsity. The Ancient
Antiochene Church of God has powerfully been revealed during this last epoch to
call out the final remnant of God’s chosen elect.
God has fixed definite times in His plan. We have witnessed
many of these “times” start and come to pass. We are currently experiencing the
Whirlwind Prophecy. In this time the predicted war manifested and we
have witnessed phase one come to fruition. We are in the most important mystery
phase of the final church. We are in the final “sealing” phase. The
Antiochene Church has the seventh counsel for Laodicea as given by Jesus
Christ. This message is the last “seal” [spiritually needed knowledge] that
confirms the salvation message in the “time of the end”. The church is sharing
this message along with the Seventh Angel so that it may be handed down to seal
the 144,000 Israelites going into the Great Tribulation. It is not an addition
to the true Gospel Message, but it is a magnification of the true Gospel
Message.
Truths that must be made known for our time are now being
made known. God does everything at the right time. Our main concern is to
preach and teach salvation. This true salvation is found only in the person of
Jesus Christ. Knowing how close we are to the end of this dispensation; we feel
a special urge to get busy for our Lord.
No body can predict the exact time of our Lord’s return for
His church. The failed predictions from such groups as the Jehovah’s Witnesses
and various Advent groups has brought great disappointment and discouragement
to many true seekers. Christianity continues to receive a bad name by these
kinds of tricks. The more teachable student will not give up. The enemy works
overtime to push people away from true “reality”.
Dispensational Clarity
The Greek word used by Apostle Paul
for “dispensation” is oikonomia and it basically means a specific economy
[order] of time, a dispensed amount of time. Biblically, we say that a
dispensation represents a period of time in which Humanity is tested in respect
to a revelation [message] given by God to man. The revelation is a condition or
covenant that God reveals, a covenant that should be kept between Humans
(specifically Israel) and God.
The Greek word, oikonomia as a verb
points to management, regulation, and administration of time. These
dispensations are for the outworking of God’s purpose in the space-time
continuum. There are many covenants given by God throughout Scripture but there
are Seven main Dispensations which are all introduced by a new covenant that
God gives to his people.
Most all of these covenants are
“conditional”, in other words God promises to keep the covenant if Israel obeys
their part in the covenant. If they refuse, and break the covenant then God
promises curses or judgments for His people. When one covenant is completely
abolished by disobedience then God introduces a new covenant for them to keep
thus establishing a continued relationship and learning process with His
people.
Here is a list of the Seven Major
Dispensations in Scripture. All are introduced by a new covenant from God:
1.
Innocence - Adam
2. Conscience - After man sinned, up to the flood
3. Government - After the flood, man allowed to eat meat, death penalty
instituted
4. Promise - Abraham up to Moses and the giving of the Law
5. Law - Moses to the cross (The time we call, “The Old Covenant”)
6. Grace - The cross to the Millennial Kingdom (Our current Christian
Dispensation)
7. Millennial Kingdom - A 1000-year reign of Christ on earth centered in
Jerusalem - Future.
Each of these dispensations is
introduced by a covenant and here is a list of each of the Seven Covenants:
1-The Edenic Covenant – Genesis
1:28-30; 2:15-17
2-The Adamic Covenant – Genesis
3:14-19
3- The Noahic Covenant – Genesis 8:20;
9:17
4- The Abrahamic Covenant – Genesis
12:1-3
5- The Mosaic Covenant – Exodus 20-23;
Deuteronomy
6- The Beginning of the New Covenant –
Ezekiel 36:20-27; John 1:29
7- The Millennial Covenant –
Deuteronomy 30:1-10; Revelation 20:1-4
This basic outline of the Seven
Dispensations is part of “The Ancient Antiochene Church of God (AACG)”
hermeneutics. Today there is much controversy regarding what many call
“Dispensational Theology”. The fact of the matter is, the early Church taught
it. Some of the early Patristic saints who spoke of it are listed here:
* Justin Martyr (A.D. 110-165)
* Irenaeus (A.D. 130-200)
* Clement of Alexandria (A.D. 150-220)
* Augustine (A.D. 354-430)

We are
currently in the Church dispensation, the dispensation of God’s Grace.
This is
most certainly true.
May the
