When
we were mere children, even only two and three years old, we began forming who
we are – both consciously and unconsciously. We mimic our parents and those
adults around us. We also learn how to adapt to certain circumstances. As
Ancient Antiochene Christians we teach about this important process to our
Christian children.
As adults we are part of an entirely different world. We
learn fast that the “game” changes. As we grow older, we learn and the game
becomes clearer, we really begin to see how sick humanity is with sin. This can
become depressing for the non-Christian. As children we actually are attuned
more to our intuitive mind. We tend to lose this as we grow older.
As we move along in life we begin to learn about our likes
and dislikes and these change throughout time. In our Christian faith we learn
the applicability of God’s word in every relationship – relationships with
objects and living beings. Studying God’s word helps us in proper development.
How we think, what we think, what we say and don’t say. God’s word helps to
shape us in our individuation process. We begin to develop Godly qualities in
our human characters.
The Ancient Antiochene student is not alone. We are the
“body of Christ”. There are no fines, fees, or forms to fill out to become a
true Christian. Study with us online every day. After one month worth of
studying [listening to our talks and reading our articles] using our online
material, we consider you to be an official “Ancient Antiochene Christian”, a fellow
brother and sister in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you have never been baptized, we ask that you find a
healthy church in your area and do so. Become properly baptized by the “water
and the Word”. Life is constantly changing in many ways and to have the proper
knowledge of the Lord will help one stay stable and sane in this constant
“storm” of life.
True Christianity is a path traveled by a small group of
people. Not many stick with the “straight and narrow” path but for those who
do, what and awesome change begins to take place. Understanding the true
mysteries of the Bible creates a dynamic change in a person’s life. We invite
