Christianity & the Human Being

Humans are created beings; they are not God but they are created for a purpose. Humans are created to become the Family of God. Not all humans will arrive at or become true children of God. Each human has a choice. We are on earth for a purpose and are participating in the Divine Plane. Through reading and studying the Scriptures we become aware of the revelation of the Divine Plan – the plan of the ages.

Humans are layered beings. The Bible teaches that each human has different bodies. These could be understood as such;

1-Our Physical Body (Our biological being)

2-Our Soul (Psyche-unique person, personality)

3-Our Spirit (Monad – gift of life, gender)

These bodies are additionally covered with;

1-Our Emotional Body (Feelings)

2-Our Mental Body (Reason & Logic)

This along with our personal biology and chemistry proves that we are in fact complex created beings. We each have a multiplicity of things going on within us all the time. Fallen human psychology and psychiatry tells us that we must go “within” this mess and there we will find all the answers that we need. This is like trying to explain and understand the mechanics of a complex computer without the proper instruction guide.

As Christians we start with the true instruction guide, the Holy Scriptures. We have been given a blueprint and master plan. We, as Christians, have also been given a special teacher, the person of the Holy Spirit. We have all that we need. God has not left us all alone. Also, our own creator, Jesus the Christ has come down to our level. He becomes our father, our brother, and our best friend.

This is part of the beautiful message of true Christianity. The Ancient Antiochene Church of God has been sharing this message since the incarnation of Jesus Christ. This is the Good News – the Gospel.

Our message goes contrary to basic human reason and logic. We have been given Divine Revelation. This process is supernatural. Ultimately, we are supernatural beings. Humans are blinded by the contamination of sin. In order for them to see properly their spiritual eyes and ears must be opened. By hearing the words of Jesus the Christ – we begin this special process.

Within the Christian a transformation and transmutation begins. Behold, all things become new.
