“The Shepherds Way”, who we are.
Welcome to “The Shepherds Way”. We are
Christians living in the “time of the end”. This online ministry is really an
online church. All Christians who study here already attend their own personal
church, or family churches and we encourage this. Christians from numerous
denominations and so called “non-denominations” are part of this ministry
because they study their Bible’s with us here.
This ministry has a very important purpose in these last days. The
Christian church has become divided since the early apostolic times - divided
in opinions and beliefs as to what the true Christian message really is. Most
all people who consider themselves Christian are Protestant or Roman Catholic.
This ministry (The Shepherds Way) teaches and believes that the original church
has been experiencing apostacy since the first epoch of the church.
After the death of apostle John, the purity of the original Christian
doctrines slowly became corrupted. Eventually the church and state joined into
a religio-political power. We see this in the early history of the Roman
church. In the 1500’s a reform took place which escalated into the reform
(restoration) started by Martin Luther. Martin Luther restored the proper
Biblical understanding of salvation and salvific doctrine. He did this for all people to begin to see and understand. All Protestant churches today have worked off
the restored foundation of Martin Luther.
We believe that we are a remnant of the “first church” which has existed
throughout all of church history since the time of Christ. Sometimes the true
church only amounted to just a handful of people left, but it has always been protected by
our Lord throughout time. The church has traveled through six major epochs of
time and since 1900 AD it has entered its final - seventh epoch.
We were first called “Christian” in ancient Antioch. It was in ancient
Antioch that Christian purity was maintained for some time before the full-blown
apostacy. As the remnant of the Ancient Antiochene Church of God today, we have
preserved the true teachings of Christianity. We do not see ourselves as a
“denomination” or “non-denomination”. We are not confined to some building or
outside organization and we are not a “non-profit” organization either. We are
simply the “body of Christ” on earth.
There are no fines, fees, or forms to fill out to become a true begotten
child of God. You are either a Christian or you're not. Its really that simple. We
certainly do not agree with all the theology being taught in the denominations
and non-denominations but we have Christians in such churches sharing the true
gospel. Part of our mission is to reach all Christians with proper doctrine, -
“the faith once delivered.”
We believe that we are to go forth with the true message of Jesus Christ.
We are to share this message with all who have ears to hear and eyes to see.
The true gospel of Jesus Christ defines who we are, our message and our
purpose. The purpose of the gospel is to cleanse the people of God from all their
sins and to restore a proper relationship between God and the rest of humanity.
We exercise faith in Jesus Christ and practice forgiveness, repentance, mercy,
compassionate judgement, and share the true love of God.
We also share the last message or counsel for the Christian church right
before Jesus returns for his saints. This counsel that we share is called the
“counsel to the Laodicean church”. It is given directly by Jesus Christ himself
to the last church found in the book of Revelation.
True Christianity is a lifelong commitment. We constantly grow in our
knowledge of God and our personal relationship with God and the rest of the
Christian church. This online ministry is to help you effectively in your
personal Christian growth. We are ultimately taught by the Holy Spirit as he
points us to Jesus Christ. Proper
Biblical knowledge and study helps prepare us for service and personal
missionary work. Proper Bible study leads to receiving revelation from God. We
ask that as you study here with us you pay careful attention to the truths and
ideas that come to your mind. We hope that you share with us the joy that comes
from a proper understanding of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Keep your Bible’s with you at all times.
May you receive the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
